Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Develop error correction techniques to extend quantum coherence times beyond 2026 standards
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Collaborate with Intel and IBM on quantum hardware integration projects
- Drive open-source contributions to Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and Q# programming
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles and topological computing
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) for quantum simulations
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory at graduate level
