Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain and encryption systems
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proven track record of translating quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to handle abstract quantum concepts
