Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cryptography, and materials science teams
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sources
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems preferred
- Track record of securing competitive research funding
