Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum algorithm development and optimization for 2026 deployment targets
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with enhanced qubit stability
- Author high-impact research publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences (Q2C, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE implementations)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, topological)
