Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction research achieving >99.9% fidelity targets
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals annually
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers on quantum hardware-software integration
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DARPA quantum computing grants
- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (2019-2024)
- 2+ years hands-on experience with superconducting/ion trap qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms (QML)
