Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubits and quantum error correction
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates and cross-functional AI/physics teams
- Secure $1M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Quantum Computing, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and low-level quantum control protocols
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum decoherence mitigation and fault tolerance
