Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead research in error correction and quantum coherence optimization
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum computing solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy across the organization
- Secure competitive research grants and patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
