Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims in fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for 2026 quantum roadmap initiatives
- Mentor postdocs in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (arXiv:quant-ph)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction codes
- Patent portfolio in quantum algorithm design (preferred)
