Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to overcome decoherence challenges in 2026-era hardware
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Partner with government agencies on quantum security standards for critical infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of open scientific inquiry
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in error correction codes and fault-tolerant quantum computing
