You'll develop breakthrough quantum algorithms, simulate complex molecular structures, and collaborate with Nobel laureates to solve humanity's grandest challenges. Our Austin campus features state-of-the-art cryogenic systems and a 500-qubit quantum processor.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $5M+ in DARPA grants
- Develop quantum-ML hybrid models for drug discovery and climate modeling
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
