Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with error mitigation strategies

- Author peer-reviewed research papers and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation with AI and materials science teams
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Contribute to quantum security protocols for 2026-era communication networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or IEEE Quantum
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and information theory
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
