Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects with 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and error-correction techniques
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in logistics and drug discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or trapped ions
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding
