Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms to solve optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum theory and practical device implementation
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise graduate interns
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction (arXiv/IEEE/ACM)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
