Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop cryptographic algorithms resistant to quantum attacks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in DoD/NASA grants for quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published research in quantum error correction or cryptography
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cryogenic systems below 20mK
