Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging Q# and IBM Quantum Experience
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish research in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals with 2+ annual publications
- Develop error-correction models for 1000+ qubit systems
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum annealing frameworks
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithm implementations
- Strong track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries
