Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum circuit fidelity beyond current industry standards
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for specific algorithmic workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at premier conferences like QIP and IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral research
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Publication record in quantum computing or related high-impact journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
