Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications

- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world industry challenges
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 5 first-author papers)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence principles
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
