Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum error correction algorithms for fault-tolerant systems
- Simulate quantum hardware performance on classical supercomputers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity topologies
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA research grants
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
