Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware team to prototype superconducting qubit architectures
- Lead research initiatives targeting fault-tolerant quantum computing by 2026
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills and high-performance computing knowledge
- Ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Proven track record of securing research funding or patents
