Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond 1000-qubit thresholds
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors using superconducting and photonic architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum networking innovations
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical industry applications for finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Conduct quantum supremacy experiments and benchmark against classical supercomputers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Shor's variants)
- Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and hardware platforms
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and quantum simulators
- Ability to secure DoD/NASA-level quantum computing clearances preferred
