Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for complex data analysis
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence and error correction challenges
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for proprietary technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and HPC environments
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
