Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
