Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop quantum error correction techniques for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum security standards
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (2018-2023)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency with superconducting quantum hardware architecture
- Security clearance eligibility (preferred for government projects)
