Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit optimization strategies
- Publish 2-4 peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Present research at IEEE Quantum Week and QIP conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction theory
- Published work in quantum machine learning or cryptography
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems preferred
