Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware-software integration protocols
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
- Develop quantum error correction methodologies for fault-tolerant computing systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review X or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction techniques
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
