Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Develop error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven ability to secure federal SBIR/STTR grants
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
