Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit stability and error correction
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
- Mentor PhD interns and cross-functional engineering teams
- Patent novel quantum methodologies with legal support
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
