Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for industrial applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Experience with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
- Track record of securing research funding and managing multi-year projects
