Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems
- Design and calibrate superconducting quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Present findings at international conferences (APS March Meeting, Q2B)
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Develop open-source quantum computing frameworks
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published record in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
- Experience securing NSF/DOE research grants
- Fluency in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum hardware control
