Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop error-correction protocols for 128+ qubit systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural network acceleration
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through weekly hackathons
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks using Python and C++
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
