Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with 100+ qubit fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Ability to secure government and industry research funding
- Experience mentoring quantum research teams
