Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in AI and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud platforms
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences (IEEE, Nature Quantum)
- Secure research funding through competitive grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and develop next-generation quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
