Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum software developers
- Secure $2M+ in research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum machine learning
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel programming
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and post-quantum cryptography
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
