Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-resistant cryptography solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) environments and GPU acceleration
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and topological quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration and noise characterization
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) for hybrid models
