Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-accelerated models into production systems
- Author breakthrough research papers for top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from government and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing research venues
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (VQE, QAOA, Shor's algorithm variants)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Experience securing government research grants (DARPA, NSF, DOE)
