Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead experimental quantum hardware optimization projects using superconducting qubits
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry white papers
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through compelling proposal development
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum communications projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence phenomena
- Track record of securing NSF or DoD research grants
