Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical business applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Translate quantum computing advancements into patentable IP portfolios
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative quantum computing communities
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling and simulation
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theory into real-world applications
