Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-corrected qubit architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction methodologies
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Track record of publications in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and superconducting qubit technologies
