Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead research on topological qubit stabilization techniques
- Create quantum-safe cryptographic frameworks for post-quantum networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control system integration
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and complexity analysis
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research grants
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
