Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging Qiskit, Cirq, and proprietary frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines for enterprise clients
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $5M+ in DOE and NSF grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical applications
