Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for practical quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Lead research publications and patent development in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum methodologies
- Secure and manage research grants from government and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and manage complex projects
