Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions on IBM, Google, and D-Wave systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve quantum advantage in production environments
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an inclusive innovation culture
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of publishing in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
