Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics, cryptography, and molecular modeling
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware team to calibrate superconducting qubits and quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science teams to accelerate quantum adoption
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and HPC frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Track record of innovative problem-solving in complex technical environments
