Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Develop advanced error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using our 1000+ qubit testbed
- Author high-impact research papers for Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science and machine learning integration
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Secure government grants and industry partnerships for quantum commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM QCE)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces (cryogenic systems, microwave control)
- Track record of securing NSF/DOE quantum research grants
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and business stakeholders
