Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum coherence stability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit connectivity and gate operations
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/private funding for projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Track record of securing research grants or patents
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
