Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing protocols to overcome current hardware limitations
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum solutions with classical AI systems
- Contribute to quantum error correction frameworks enabling practical quantum advantage
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum software for next-generation processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket) and quantum simulators
