Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum theory into practical solutions
- Lead experimental research in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum system validation
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research funding through competitive grant proposals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of published quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Experience with quantum error correction protocols
- Familiarity with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
