Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week and similar venues
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quarterly quantum hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (Quil, QASM, or similar)
