Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy algorithms on 500+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/DOE research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit platforms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor network simulations
- Experience securing federal research funding (DARPA, NSF preferred)
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
