Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving NP-hard optimization problems
- Lead open-source quantum software projects with 10k+ developer community
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for frontier research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications annually in Q1 journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science with quantum specialization
- 5+ years experience in superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq and HPC environments
- Patent portfolio in quantum algorithms (3+ granted)
- Experience with quantum annealing hardware (D-Wave/Rigetti)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
